We invite you to stroll through our historic 16-hectare park, where picturesque paths with HanseGrand® paving stretch between extensive ponds. Many of the centuries-old trees growing around the palace are relics of the wild landscape surrounding the former knightly stronghold. Like the Komierowski family residence, its surroundings have undergone successive transformations over the centuries. These changes were most often carried out in parallel with the modernization of the main residential building.
In the park, you can encounter linden and oak trees planted in the second half of the 17th century, when the former knightly stronghold took the form of a small Baroque palace. Successive generations transformed the palace park, constantly expanding it, until in the 19th century it became a vast naturalistic park. The location of the old trees reveals that the palace park underwent successive modifications throughout almost the entire 19th century, bringing it closer to the prevailing garden trends of the time. The greatest changes, however, occurred in 1896, when Roman Komierowski funded the reconstruction of the Baroque palace. A romantic estate was created, framed by an extensive park, harmoniously blending with the surrounding landscape. The site's natural assets, such as the topography and centuries-old trees, were paramount and dictated the park's final design, making it one of the most exceptional naturalistic parks in Poland.
A walk in the park is free of charge, but requires prior confirmation by phone due to the numerous private events held at the Palace.
